San Mateo County Home Stats February ‘08

In order to determine the appropriate price for a home, whether buying or selling, you’ve got to drill down further than this data displays.  Even individual cities have micro markets.  San Mateo is a perfect example of that.  Shoreview is not the same market as San Mateo Park.

There’s not only geographical micro markets; there’s also markets that function differently based on price.  The first time buyer market is completely different than what is happening in the move-up market.
