Pedro Point is one of my favorite places in Pacifica. It’s an ecclectic neighborhood that includes Nona’s and Barolo restaurants, Exteme Pizza, Ace Hardware. There’s also a bike rental and the well known Nor Cal Surf Shop. It’s a mystery what will be taking the place of the former gym; rumor has it that it will be a grocery store along the lines of Whole Foods.
From the parking lot you can wander onto Linda Mar Beach to watch the surfers and sunsets. Here’s a link to a live camera.
Real estate in this corner of Pacifica is pretty expensive. With these views, I’m sure you expected that one. Currently there are six homes for sale: $849,000 to $2,750,000. You can guess which is my favorite.
Bob DeLouche, a local builder, turned this monster into a beauty. It is 2,680 square feet of master construction. Every detail has been attended to. Hand-made fixtures, specialized paint techniques, top-of-the-line appliances. It is truly exquisite. What I haven’t mentioned about this home is that on a clear day you can see forever. On one particular sparking day we could see the bridge.
