San Mateo, did you know that you may be able to lower your property taxes?  For some property owners in cities such as Pacifica, Daly City, San Bruno and even some neighborhoods in San Mateo the market has forced a decline in their property values.  In such cases, there is relief.

The procedure is fairly simple.  Fill out an application; along with the application you’ll need to provide comparables properties showing the county why your property qualifies.  If you need assistance  with that piece, contact me.

There are some factors to keep in mind when making a decision about whether or not this is right for you.  Please thoroughly read the San Mateo County Homeowner Resources page for details.
